Topiary

The art of tightly clipping evergreen shrubs such as yew, box, ilex, privet​​.

As garden designers we often discuss 'structure', 'anchors' or specimen trees and shrubs which act as focal points taking the eye around the garden.

Topiary are great examples of this, adding a cone, pyramid, block etc adds a strong statement to the garden and can offset softer colours and textures and bring balance to the overall border or space.​​

These can be added and managed by Surrey Planting Design, using high quality, sterilised pruning tools and safety equipment.
