Surrey Planting Design puts good horticulture and the selection and care of the finest plants and trees at the forefront of garden renovation, design and the creation of beautiful outdoor spaces.

My father built many horticultural businesses over 50 years, from growing indoor and outdoor plants for retail, to in-town and rural garden centres, he's an avid grower and gardener.

I spent the early part of my career in the city, in financial markets. I made a large career change to follow my father and create a business which creates and maintains beautiful gardens for my clients.

I found I benefited from project management and communication skills from my early career, my RHS qualifications up to RHS Level 3 and my parents influence being surrounded by plants all my life. Putting these skills and influences together with my passion for beautiful gardens has enabled me to grow a successful, local business.
About Me
I'm an RHS Level 3 qualified gardener with a passion for creating beautiful gardens.
My parents inspired me and spent most of their careers in horticulture where they created one of the largest independent garden centres in the South of England, though my father's true vocation is growing, after spending over 50 years propagating thousands of indoor and outdoor plants for the trade.
My true passion is renovating neglected outdoor spaces, reviving older plants and trees with correct pruning techniques or creating new, spectacular borders, selecting the right plants for their location, adding organic material to breathe new life back into the soil.
I live in South Farnham and the majority of my clients live in the surrounding beautiful, Surrey countryside, many of whom I've looked after for over 5 years. Their needs are focused on creating planting plans to refresh an area , re-designing the wider garden layout, specialist pruning and some on-going, weekly maintenance of the largest gardens.
